The Pats surely didn't look like a 18-0 team to me. They looked rather mediocre.

Maybe they should have reverted to their early-season cheating schemes? It's not like anyone really did anything about it.

The Pats came in favored, and their "no loss all year" chip on their shoulder. The Giants were hungry for the win, and simply played better. The superbowl game is all that counts, all those prior wins mean nothing. The Pats also figured it was in the bag w/ just a couple minutes on the clock, violating the number one rule: It's not over till it's OVER.

the pats finally found a way not to win.

In some of their games, they were on a tear; in other games, the weather played a big role (think the ravens 3 - 0 victory) and still other games, the pats squeaked out a win.

Did they every play like an 18 - 0 team? I dunno, I never saw one before.

Each team and their coaches is going to play the game differently. Sort of the reason we keep watching it.

Thankfully it's over, maybe now we can get on with more important things like counting the cracks in the sidewalk.

I went shopping during the first half. Talk about a moron-free environment . . . inside the store was bliss. Traffic was apparently hindered by the "gotta' get more beer and get back to the game" mentality, as I saw moronic moves every 60-120 seconds on the drive to and fro.

Once. Just once, I'd like to see everyone in the country all wake up and say, "I think that it is ridiculous that you want to be paid millions of dollars to play a game. Go home. Get a job. We're sick of the repetitive nature of sports. It bores us." That day won't come in my lifetime, but someday people will get off the couch and buy their own ball.

Maybe if you didn’t drive like grandma...

I got stuck behind the guy who wanted the expensive bottle out of the locked cabinet. Sure enough the employee didn’t know where the key was and had to call up the boss.

$130, $130 for a bottle of scotch, wtf that better be the some potent stuff.

I should have never stopped off, the guy said don’t bring anything. Damn this boy knew how to roll. Fully stocked bar and a fridge stocked with every beer imaginable. Reminded me of the movie “Teen Wolf”, were Style’s shows up with a keg thinking he's hot stuff and the dudes like yeah put it with the rest.

The wife is watching the game and asks me "why aren't you watching the game?" "Honey" I say, "for the same reason I didn't watch any of the rest of the games, I don't need to watch men in tight pants bending over to get excited"

Oh that reminds me anyone got a comfy couch for sale? Ours sucks as a bed.

on another avenue of thought, I even taped most of the game. For the obvious reasons, there are commercials to be rerum.

So far, it's looking to be one of the highest rated superbowls of recent history; duh.

You prefer playing in the dirt with leather clad men.

I'm thinking about making some t-shirts up that say

"18 - 1
not good enough"

on two separate lines

how about it?

Hows the Brewers looking this year Jim?

Do my Cubby's have a chance this year?

Were playing in Milwaukee the end of July I should pick up some tickets. Speaking of Milwaukee when their fest I heard it blows away Taste of Chicago?

against the brewers?

they just about got it like money in the bank.

You didn't say what you thought about the t-shirt idea, rock.

I'd bet you on the Brewers / Cubs series, but giving money away just ain't my thing.

I have high hopes for the brew crew this year.. solid infield, deep pen, hopefully a good reliever, and an outfield thats once again deeper than most expect..
