Default Just about ready for the movers . . .

Spent the last week and a half moving, organizing and cleaning parts for my move to TX.

My patio. 13 wheels, 1 frame.

27 bins of parts. 1 frame. 1 Engine case + cylinders (empty)

Spare exhausts, Yoshimura Tornado bodywork, Team Hammer tail section.

More lowers (originals off my '87), plastic and heads.

This is literally hundreds of hours of organization and cleaning. I still have a rolling chassis, and my 1987 750 to bring over.

This does not include racing parts, and a couple of bottom ends I still have at my teammates house. I'll take those myself after the season is over. It looks like I have enough parts to finish the 750 track bike and another '86 1100 streetbike. We'll see when I get to Texas.

Hey Nut. Sorry I haven't got a hold of ya. Friggin' SBC can't figure out how to do their job. Almost a week in the new house and my phone still ain't working. At least Comcast can hook up Hi-Speed right the first time.

Once you start roadracing, dragracing is, well, not as fun anymore.

I don' t have the money to run two racing teams. One is expensive enough.

not teams, just a single bike that you can drag race with. you know, since you got soo many parts.

IMO drag racing's a bore. The only excitement is in building the motor between runs. A trained monkey can sit and watch the tach until shift time. You'd go through a BUNCH of monkeys trying to teach them to corner correctly. I'd pay to see that.

With the possible exception of cricket, baseball is the most boring "spectator" sport in the world! Lets watch a bunch of guys stand around scratching themselves and spitting tobacco while some other guy trys to hit a small ball flying past at 90 mph with a bat.

C'mon, even synchronised diving is more exciting than that!

The only attraction of baseball is being in the park, eating way too many hotdogs and drinking way too much beer. But that has nothing to do with the sport, which isn't really a sport anyway - unless you happen to be a statistician.

Sorry soad ... I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I've played softball, and have probably been at more professional baseball games than you have ... LA Dodgers, LA Angels, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners ... just to name a few.

Cricket is a game similar to baseball that is played all over the world, the britisch and their former colonies (notablly india and pakistan) are very good at it. However, a typical match can last up to 5 days ... it isn't exactly a fast moving sport like basketball or soccer.

I have been living outside the USA for about 15 years ... and have learned that there are more team sports than just football, basketball, baseball and hockey.

Go FC Basel - the Swiss national soccer champions!
