New guy droppin by to say good morning.
It's 05:30 and a balmy 41 degrees F. Rain showers predicted for the day so I may just stay in by the fire for a change.

Enjoy the day everyone!

Good morning all. Some guy on a Harley wadded up this morning on the freeway. Traffic stopped suddenly and he didn't. (or couldn't) lol. Amazingly he was not hurt. Sure doesn't take much to bend the forks up under the gas tank on a Harley, and the front rim was not even bent! His rake was suddenly decreased tho..

Good morning. Some bad storms rolled through last night bringing a cold front. Mid to upper 50's this morning with clear skies. Feels great.

Pfft. At 9am this morning, it was a whoppin' 33° here. And for a few minutes, it was actually SNOWING. Only a few flakes, but still ... it's only October 21st!

I was just checking the temperatures in Oakland, CA, where I'll be spending most of November and December ... average daily temperature between 58 and 64°! Woohoo!

It is just a few minutes before 9:00 AM HST, currently at 84ºF with highs forecasted at 88ºF. Got a 1.5 hr boat ride to look forward to, then it's work.

Happy Monday everyone!

Just had a Bostin' weekend, Mum and Dad came up to stay for the weekend and BOY! can they partay!

Up 'till stupid o'clock in the morning and then back up a few short hours later with Ma & Pa stood by the front door... where to today?!?

So Saturday we went up the Falkirk Wheel which is a big canal boat lift pretty impressive really. Falkirk Wheel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Had a great day.

Weather stayed fine the whole weekend.. 54*F and clear this morning ..not a breath of wind..BLISS!

Oh and the kitchen rebuild is almost finished, just waiting on the joiner to come and finish the footery bits - plinths, pelmets etc.

Off out later looking for a new car for SWMBO fancy getting her a Merc C220 coupe, they look pretty good..

Morning all you crazy wakey motorcycle people..lol.. Well we are in for a nasty day of thunderstorms and what looks like a hurricane hanging off the coast line down here. This thunderstorm is HUGE!! Maybe we can run a pipe line up to Georgia and give those poor people some water. Seems odd some states are drowning while others are drying up. Dang Global Warming..lol

Yeah it is pretty good, the entire canal infrastructure throughout the UK is gradually being re-instated, looks like we will be reverting to Victorian transport systems again - and why not!?!? I can now cyle from my house to Glasgow city centre and then on to Edinburgh (via the Falkirk wheel) using canal towpaths. In a couple of years I should be able to cycle from London to Glasgow via towpaths... Now THAT is cool.

The best of it is, some of the supermarket chains have started shipping products to the inner city branches using the canals therefore taking trucks off the roads. Good move, I think.

Good day for coffee, windy, 50, cloudy, 60% chance of rain. Good weather for a Monday.

Perfect weather yesterday, but it rained 2" of leaves with the wind. 4" total so far, 6" to go.

Looks like autumn has arrived. I think I know what I'll be doing for the next few weeks.

Thank God for Leaf Blowers

Good morning!

It was in the mid 60s on the ride to work this morning. Looks like 80% chance of rain today again. Weather this weekend was absolutely perfect.... and I didn't get a chance to go ride
