I had coffee from 6:00 until 7:31 then took the dog and went into town to get a Sunday paper. Got back home around 8:00 and while getting ready to go for a ride the Nursing Center that takes care of my mother in-law called and were sending her to the hospital for high temperature and rattling lungs. Spent 2 hours in the ER waiting room, before I got to go ride. Got in 210 miles after that. High temp this afternoon was 84.0*f.

Sick. And I forgot to take some Tylenol before coming to work, so I've got the chills and muscle ache.

It's 33F already, not too bad I guess. More snow coming tomorrow and Wednesday.

I'm debating whether to start the coffee or go back to bed. Either plan will start with some Advil.

Anyways, good morning everyone. Have a good day.

What a weekend!

I got out on BOTH bikes Saturday afternoon. I had a blast. I can't wait until the riding season kicks in full tilt.

It's Monday and it sucks!

We live on a corner, with a fairly steep hill on the east side of us......the poor schmucks that live at the bottom....well, lets just say, "slip sliding awaaayyy".

Oh and school buses.....there's three that travel our neighborhood, once in the morning and again at school day end. So far, they've taken out two parked cars this school year....THANKFULLY we're able to park our vehicles in the drive way and not on the street!

I've been living in my apartment for more than 4 years now...I know that the garage entrance is tight.

On the way out of the garage this morning, I kissed the wall with my front fender. No real damage, but I did take the paint off of the fender just in front of the right front wheelwell.

I really should wait until the coffee has started to go from my stomach into my veins before I try and exit the garage...

Yes, but you probably didn't have a sadistic architect who put in an underground garage TWO floors below street level, with an entrance ramp that is barely 10 feet wide and has two 45° turns in it!

the traffic here was normal; in the sense since the new year people have been driving a lot more stupid than just last year.

Case in point, I drive about 10 -12 miles on the freeway, and just this year there have been something like 8 - 9 accidents. One day there were 3 accidents, all going to the city.

In total, there have been more accidents the first 5 weeks of this year than the last 3 years combined. At least the time of day I drive in.
