Morning all, 24F HORIZONTAL rain! Passed a cyclist this morning on my way in, mothing unusual in that, except he was doing close on 40MPH, the motorist behind him didn't know what to do!

Absolutely AWESOME!

Happy Thursday all

RIP Heath Ledger, seemed such a nice guy!

I threw away some good hands last night. At one point, I had an Queen/Jack in the hole, and I was in a good position. Then one of the other players went all in with something like 16,000 chips. You have to pick your battles carefully. At the end of the evening, I finished 2nd out of 6 players, and doubled my money.

We were playing Texas Hold'em, with $20 buy-in and rebuy. I spent $40 ($20 buy-in, and $20 add-on after the 3rd round), and took home $75 for my 2nd place finish.

It's -9 this morning. I can't believe it, just keeps getting colder.

I shouldn't complain though, I work at home so don't need to go anywhere.

My wife has to work so she's getting ready to go out now. Hehehee....

Anyways, good morning all, and keep those hands warm.

Holy Chit Cheriff!

It is 50*F get it 50 round the back of the house it is really pleasant, however...... we are having gale force winds! Really, Really mean winds. The house is built of solid sandstone, the walls are around 18 - 20" thick and the floors are shaking with the wind , so, sadly, I had to leave the bike at home today *sniff* first time in months .

Then on my way to work, I had to stop and have a rant at some lazy bastid.. see rant thread.. I think this is the first morning I have felt grumpy since I can remember.

Anyhow, it's POETS day, so Happy Friday everyone and Good Morning all, Tricker and Smurf, get well soon guys.
