It was 19 degrees this morning. Decided not to ride. Not because it's too cold for me, but because it's too cold for the bike. I live in an apartment and my battery won't start when it's below freezing and I'm too lazy to (once again) get the jumper cables out of my car.

Good morning all. Foggy, misty, windy, cold. Yet I still saw bikes on the road.

It's so foggy here, if you took a deep breath you'd drown.

Well at last... I can finally get on here had a terrible time earlier T'internet was as slow as watching grass grow.

Anyway... Goood Maaaaaaawnin'

it was a scorching 23F this morning, very wet, very slippy very "exciting" on the bike, a few mars bars here and there!

Got some great news first thing, a housing association wants to buy my flat in Gosport (the estate is a real toilet! and for years the flat was unsellable, now all of a sudden this association wants to buy it REEEEEEESULT!!)

Should come away with about £15K profit *pocket money*

I'm thinking................ HOLIDAY somewhere hot & sweaty!

Another great day in Busterworld.

Happy Tuesday everyone.

Hmmn....I'd look at the whys and hows of the purchase. Meaning....why all of the sudden is there a hot buyer for something that was in the toilet?

Could be an opportunity for either greater profit, or another opportunity for profit by buying something else in the same area....or investing in the area.....

Good morning everyone from Waukesha, Wisconsin. It's 13 degrees F this morning and more snow. Had the snow blower out last night for 6" of snow and again this morning for another 6". This weather sucks.

Sounds like good news Buster. It pays to be in the right place at the right time, although many times it's darn hard to figure out just where that place might be.

The housing association is the modern day equivalent of council houses, they provide rented homes for the lower income members of the market and to be honest I am just glad to be rid of the place, my last tenant was a real piece of pond life that hasn't paid rent for the last year, so I am quite a sum amount out of pocket and I also have a huge legal bill to evict them, ironically, they will now turn to the housing association for accomodation.

My flat is up on the top row, very rough spot

Around here....when the crapholes start suddenly get bought up....pile in....because "getrification" is on it's way. "Gentrification" leads to rehabilitation of surrounding property, and prices skyrocketing.

In no way, am I saying keep your property. You do what's right for you. I'm just curious as to what's going on.

Well the whole surrounding area has been regenerated, all with exception of this junkie filled carbuncle, the local council have been threatening it with a compulsory purchase and demolition for at least a decade, I just want rid because I am losing money hand and fist, while the local council pontificates and procrastinates. However if it does go to compulsary purchase I will not make much, if indeed any profit at all, so this is my golden get out. And besides it's the only offer I have had for 15 years!

Spooky, exactly the same as here, except it's raining...................AGAIN!

No mars bar moments this morning, cold, wet but fun.

Happy Wednesday.

Good morning everybody, it's 52f here this morning and everything sucks. I have to have a upper GI this morning so I've had nothing to drink since 10:00 last night. When a man hasn't had a smoke in 3 weeks, not letting him have a cup of coffee in the morning will dam near get you killed.
