That's when you only have to do a 9 hour shift and you get 7 hours in bed, 'stead of the usual 5, (leaving just 3 for sleep! )

Heh. I've been off work since yesterday. Today is Ascension (national holiday) and May Day (national holiday), so my company closed down yesterday at noon, and will remain closed until Monday.

I just finished cleaning and greasing my chain, and tomorrow I'm riding the bike over to Lake Constance (about 100 miles). My fiancée and I are taking a short vacation in Constance, and doing some shopping there. Saturday I'm riding home again.

Sunday I'm riding to Dubendorf (near Zürich) to the Love Ride. I'm not participating in the group ride (been there, done that), but I'm going to walk around the fairgrounds and look at the shiny chrome!

The first thing I do when I have some time to myself is clean and grease (pronounced greeze) the ole chain.

You know, you can go blind if you greeze the chain too often.

Well I'm off for the day but I actually have nothing really to do today. Can't ride because I need new tires for the bike so I am kinda stuck at home for the moment. I know though if I go off goofing around today I will spend money and I don't need to do that right now. Self control efforts here... so I will just wash and clean me bike today.. fun fun..

Oh Man!!! Its 75 degs this morning and my dad gets up first thing he does is light the heater.. I think he's trying to kill us..

I know growing old is tough and he is on all kinds of blood thinners for his heart but man.. I can't deal with a heater going and its in the 70's already.

I can't wait until I get finished with my house..

Sunday mornign supposed to be a good day . I'm hoping to spend part of it buying a starter bike for my wife. We have been looking for 2 weeks. Every time I find a decent one I put it off a little too long and someone else buys it.

First Sunday of the month, means serving pancake breakfast to members and their families
Some of us do set up at 6am and others go in at 6.30-6.45 for final setup.
We eat at 7.30 and start serving at 8.00.

This is the last pancake breakfast till Sept.
The Langley Motorcycle Club has joined us in past years.
We charge them the same $2 a head.

For some reason I seem to enjoy my morning sleep ins.

.
