|  Sheepish A young man walks up to a farmer and tells him that he can communicate with animals, and if he will feed him and give him a place to sleep for the night that he will go out into the field an talk to the animals and find out what the farmer can do to make them more productive. Well the farmer figures the guy isn’t playing with a full deck but he agrees to allow him to go “talk to the animals”. Well about two hours later the young man comes back and the farmer skeptically asks him if what the animals had said. “Well” the young man said, “I spoke with your horses and they told me that you recently switched from a round bit to a square bit. The square bit hurts them when they are pulling and they cannot pull as hard. Well the farmer was amazed for what the young man had said was true. The farmer now interested asked him what else he found out. The young man said, “I talked to your cows, they told me that you recently changed the pressure on the milking machine. The pressure is too strong and it causes them to tense up and then they don’t give as much milk. “Wow! This is unbelievable, you really can talk to animals” said the farmer, “did you learn anything else?” The young man said, “Well… I talked with your sheep. The farmer broke in “those sheep, they lie!” |
