What is the worst lie/excuse you have told to stay out of work for the day? One of mine that had my boss call me in the next day. I called into his cell. "Uh looks like I have to call in for Sick leave today." " Went to the Dr. and she told me I had a case of F.O.S (fecaloctalsyndrone) and she recommended that I stay home for the day." I went into how seriously contagious it was. Boss had a really good sense of humor when I told him. After I left the office he called me and explained that he totally understood the situation and that he may use that excuse the next day. I personally don't think they would have went for my real reason. The surf was pushing 4 to 6 foot.  What was the real reasoning behind telling the lie...IE Hung over like a dog, still drunk and at the bar, The riding weather is perfect, Your siginificant other is off and she is fiesty, the surf is going off,etc,etc, |
