Today I took my dad's honda vtx 1300 out for a ride to meet up with a friend and go cruise Biloxi Ms to see the rebuilding progess from Katrina 2 yrs ago. Well we had lunch then he rode off home and I went in another direction. I came up behind another group of riders (4 bikes total) when the guy on the lead bike notices me falling in behind them. I ride respectfully not really crowding them at all but as the old saying goes ..saftey in numbers.. Well he starts to slow down..way down.. to maybe 40 mph causing us all to slow down.. Again.. I am not bothering anyone.. then.. he actually waves me on around them..  Then I notice they are all on Harleys and I'm the Honda.... so I go on around them and yes... I gave them the one finger solute..  I remembered though hearing that there are some bike clubs around here that don't allow anyone but their members to ride with them.. I went to the blessing of the bikes one year and there where all these groups that would not associate with each other.. I think today I found one.. bastages.. who needs 'em!!
