| I've visited Vegas twice, the last time being earlier this year ( for a weekend in April. I saw quite a few weddings take place that weekend actually, some at the cheesy wedding chapels that are north of the strip, a couple of them at the top of the Stratosphere overlooking the city, and also at the hotels as well ). It's a fun city to visit for a few days but that is about all I can handle. I doubt I could do a whole week there. At least I know my wallet wouldn't be able to take it.

| Glad to see I'm not the only one that got that..... Which reinforces my belief that if I ever end up running a gin mill, it's gonna have a neon sign over the bar that reads: Liquor in the front. Poker in the rear. Of course that sign from Cheers would have to be in there too. The one that said something about it being a Square House. But of course, I'd make the corners round.

| After seeing the STRIP - make sure you get to OLD downtown also. If you don't want to spend money on taxi fare they have a great bus pass for about 5 bucks for 24 hours - ride all you want. But Vegas is great for shows, food & fun. Just remember that it is a vacation & you pay to be entertained. They don't build those big hotels, give free drinks, etc. with people leaving dirty clothes in the rooms & stuffing the suitcases with $$$$$$. We have flown out 6 times so far and plan on going out this Nov. BLUE MAN group is a great show along with some others but tickets for most shows run about $100.00. We enjoyed some of the cheaper afternoon shows also. Wife always seems to win a little - me I just give it to them. We set a limit on what we gamble per day & stick to it. If we lose it fast we go find some free stuff to do ( there is a good deal of it if you look around) ANYWAY CONGRATS TO YOU & ENJOY, ENJOY, ENJOY !!!!
