Default A work truck is NOT a motorcycle.

Call it bad luck or good. Work has been slow, so I've been riding my B12 almost exclusively for the last few months. The math more than works out, company truck 12 miles / per.... bike 40 miles / per.

The few Jobs we've been doing, the trucks and equipment have been delivered/driven by the other guy's. who ever is closest drives, and I'm always the farthest away. The closest guy I can think of to my type of work is Rowdy, he can tell you how hard it is to go to a job site without a work truck.

So ,the last few months of riding, rain or shine, hundreds of miles to run errands, carving it up for fun, scrubbing in new tires, checking out all the stuff for Laconia Bike Week and going to the track to hang in the pits....I've put over 5,000 miles on the Bandit in the last 2months.

Anyway, I had to go pick up the F250 HD utility truck with lift gate tonight. I nearly found out the hard way that you can't lean a truck into a corner at 50 mph, you can't down shift coming into a corner ( there's no lever on the floor board ! ) and there's no brake handle on the steering wheel !! And, since when did these trucks take up so much damn room on the road !!!!

God, I have to re-learn how to drive trucks again. I almost got up front and personal with road side furniture tonight. Agggghhh !!!

Be carefull out there folks !!
