|  themeatman's weekend plans
You wouldn't know it from your end fo the computer monitor, but themeatman's tired. I've been hanging doors on the house, painting the house, mowing the grass, repairing the house (we're going to try sell it) . . . I'm tired. I went out to my garage last night to work out and found something I haven't found in two years . . . spider webs on my friggin' weights. Ouch. I guess that's to be expected when you haven't touched them for two weeks. When I got done working out, I hovered over the wrecked GSXR . . . more webs. Ouch again. I made a decision right then and there. I'm taking a four-day weekend. I'm doing stuff I want to do, rather than stuff I have/need to do. On Thursday (tomorrow) I'm going to take the girl to the zoo. I've got almost a week of vacation leave and my wife has a day, so I need to burn some leave and I'm freaking tired of working on the house. We'll go to the zoo. Question: For you fathers of little girls out there . . . how do I handle the restroom stops for me? She's easy (the little %%%% isn't taking to potty training too well), but daddy pees a lot. My thought was to take along a jar, leave it in the truck, park the truck in my usual secluded spot on the zoo parking lot and take my breaks by parking her stroller pointed away from the truck, opening the side door and using the bottle. I'm not real keen on taking my 2 1/2 year old into a nasty men's room. I'm not sure the stroller would even fit through the door. On Friday, I'm taking off early in the morning and I'm going wherever (I'm thinking Arkansas, but who knows) to air out the Bandit. It needs airing out real bad. It's been a long time since I made a day of it. I can't wait. Question: Anyone near Memphis (i.e. within 2-3 hours) want to meet up and do a thing? |
