Default Spring is in the air

Gang,

I found sure signs of spring in my yard today. The first Hummingbirds have arrived and I saw my first snake of the year. It is warm but wind gusts over 20 MPH mean that a ride I had planned for this evening may be more work than fun.

Ride safely! Old Codger

Wind or none, riding is almost always better than not riding!

I know of a lot of riders who won't ride after the temperature breaks 100 degrees. That's half the year here, pal!

No kidding, but we just got some snow a few days ago. It has ruined our apple and peach trees. But it's good to feel the sun again!

Did I mention the absolutely perfect weather we're having now? Today the temperature was getting toward the upper 70's (25°C) and not a cloud in the sky...

We had some of that, then it rained, hailed, tornadoed, snowed, got cold, hot again, rained and hailed some more, and now its cold again (40F). Warm tomorrow (70F), then rain and God only knows what after that. West Texas is a strange place to live!

I like that. Guilty of a few of them. Drives my wife crazy when all the bike stuff is in the kitchen.

Onw of the few reasons my wife is glad I live so far from home. Always bike stuff laying around and not just in the kitchen. She finnally assigned a spot for my stuff in the laundry room just inside from the garage.

It was gorgeous here. I was so happy to be outside and warm that I spent most of the weekend raking and cleaning the garage. It's good to have my son playing in the yard rather than watching the tube.
