Default Computer Crash = No New Bike

So, though I must give her credit she's been a good old hag, Betty the Binary %%%%% died on me last week. Having updated my primary ShareWare software, which allows me to better fight The Man, I was in a wonderful mood to download, disperse, and pretty much wrap my greedy hands around whatever pirated booty could be had. Then, through either divine intervention or an FBI Trojan, Betty's hard drive took a dump. In an instant, 3,800 songs, over 100 personal poems (I know I don't seem like the poetic type, but I have a publisher), and every research paper I had ever written became a jumble of disorganized and useless electron positions. Not to mention the glorious GB's of pornography gathered with gusto over 5 years.

Yet, the misery does not stop there. After dumping $870.00 into NewEgg.com for the parts to build a new computer, the plan to sell my current bike and buy a VTX1300 custom were dashed. Now, I'll have to ride the Maggy Marauder for another year. She's a good stead, getting a little wide in the hips and loose in the grip if you know what I mean, but I suppose she will suffice. Anyways, between my bottle of Jim Beam and 2 dozen Krispy Kremes, I felt that I needed an outlet for my grief.
