Default Google Earth - Satellite Images

Most of Switzerland has been photographed with relatively poor resolution. Nothing much to see here. My town appears very grainy - I can just make out my house, but I can't see any detail at all.

Funny enough, however, the nuclear power station has been photographed with a bit more resolution...

Default Downwind?

How close are ya to the reactor core? I've been in a nuclear power plant reactor core....... and lived to tell about it. Actual facts: I was in a tour group that went into the reactor prior to operation and prior to the rods being delivered).

Google Earth is very cool.

Leibstadt is about 30 miles away. I haven't been inside, but I have been invited to some events in their office facilities (directly on the "campus"). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend these events.

I do have a package of iodine tablets at home, just in case...(they are issued to all residents within a 30 mile range of any reactor).

LOL...really in a 30 mile range? That's good!

Here...up to 10 miles from the nuke plants all we have are sirens...after that you're on your own.

Excellent spacing between those shrubs.
