Darn, speeding ticket today way out in BFE on a country road. The speed reduced from 65 to 55 and I got nailed for 70 in the trap.

I had my dog with me and she was going nuts when we were pulled. Mind you I have dark tint on the rear windows, so im sitting still watching the show in the rearview mirror. Both officers came with their pistols pointing and im there going oh wtf, I think they thought my dog was another person acting weird in the cab, but they holstered their guns when they saw it was a dog.

When he got to the window she started growling, then after grabbing my info he comes back with a citation and she starts growling again. He says I don’t think your dog likes me, and smart ass me remarks, gee I wonder why.

Yeah, doo doo happens. I got cited last year speeding in a school zone. Mind you I go through 4 school zones on my regular route to work and always obey the 20 or 25 MPH limit within them. This particular day I was going to a meeting and had no idea I was in a school zone. It's a crazy way the Y intersection was laid out and where the school zone sign was.

Anyway, I was speeding and I was caught. Hadn't had a ticket in almost 20 years, so I went to court plead no contest and paid court cost and 6 months probation. It's supposed to be off my record now.

Good luck with yours. Could be worse, he could have shot your dog and arrested you for assault on an officer.

Yea, or a frozen piece of crap could have fallen from a passing 747 and hit you on the head, the likelyhood of these two instances happening would, in my guesstimation be about the same.

He got caught speeding, he got pulled over, he'll have his day in court if he wants it. Fine. Happens every day. No need to try and make a cop bashing episode out of it.

Notice the smiley at the end of the post, yeah I think that means JOKE.
No one is turning it into a cop bashing episode.

I fully expect to get a ticket some time this year.

I've got an HP that I use to butt heads with at work many years ago that knows what I ride now and spends way too much time on my favorite road.

It is far too cold to put in smileys. Not to mention that many of the cops in my area are b@stards

Could it be that your presumably unsatisfactory experiences with and obvious dislike for Law Enforcement Officers has something to do with your general attitude toward them or do you really think they're all just out to get you because their mamma wasn't married at the time of their conception?

No, they're not out to get me. In the last 4 years I've gotten one ticket, that was genuinely my fault. I turned down a road that was closed to non-residential traffic during particular hours of the day. The cop was a %%%% about it though.

take a friggin pill, Az

Nea, don't like pills.

Guess I kinda got into posting here tonite. Pointed out an obvious troll in one thread and got reprimanded for name calling; come in here and see cops being called pigs and b@stards and replied.

I guess I'll just cool it for a while.

Y'all have fun now, hear? And keep the shiny side up.

Just for sh*ts and grins tho, how did you determine the cops in your area to be b@stards since you only got the one ticket and you say it was your fault?

Smurf ducks and reloads awaiting the next wave of insults and cop bashing statements.

I'm gonna watch this one from a distance.
