Default I have to know, cuz I know it'll happen eventually

what's it like to sneeze in a helmet? That thought popped into my head as I was riding home this evening. Would be a %%%%%, I'd assume. I know it'll happen to me sooner or later, so what's it like?

your not the only one that does that! I know I get some strange looks when people see me trying to cover my mouth in a helmet

As long as you aren't sick or anything its not too bad, but if you have a throat full of phlegm, then you might just get some on the inside of your helmet. Best advice, try not to do it or if you have to then keep your mouth shut

Never been in this situation before. If I was, I think I would open up the helmet and let it go, depending on where and what I was doing at that time. Otherwise, I would hold it in, as best as I could.

Its 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hey, psycho, we're not getting back together. Now get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.

getting over bronkitis(sp?) but I have to suck it up and swallow the think flem that comes out of my lungs when I cough. Nasty but I want to keep the inside of my helm clean. Things people do for their machines.

Marcos, that is nasty... I have never eaten raw oysters before and I dont think I will ever want to try now, if I can sneeze and get the same type of consistency.

Glad to know some agree with me...LOL.

Just imagine, putting something in your mouth (keep it clean guys) and you just chew and chew and chew and chew and then just have no choice to swallow. Yuck.

Hopefully you got one of them fancy guards in front of your nose that keeps your breath from fogging up your visor.

This is a GREAT reason for my "kit" that i carry when i ride. My kit consists of a rain suit, and other tidbits such as spare tools....and of course paper towels and windex incase a sneeze happens.
