|  Jeep Has A Winner!!
A relative's car blew up so I took her car shopping. She is looking for a Corolla/Civic/Sentra/ Mazda 3 type car. Air/automatic/cruise added on so she is basically wanting a point A to Point B type of car. Weird thing is they all look like they came out of the same factory to the casual eye! Same interiors and the exteriors looked very similar, maybe except for the Civic. We went to 7 dealerships and then hit the Chrysler/Jeep and there was a new Jeep Compass! I've seen lots of them in pics but never in the metal, so to speak. For the same money as these other cookie-cutter cars; my sister-in-law can get a kinda half sport ute/half economy car with unique styling and the Jeep name. She's not a car nut but she went gaga over the Compass. I realize Jeep lovers hate this car as it is not trail-rated and would make it about six inches on the rubicon. The engine and CVT are both brand new and really unproven. But it looks cool and distinctive and the driver sits up pretty high so has a commanding view of the road. I think Jeep has a winner:  jim |
