 |  Shared computer stuff "FIXED"
I kept getting an annoying message on my computer saying that the system failed the CPU test. The computer is self I built. My mother board is an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe and the CPU is an AMD XP 2500+ with one gig of Crucial RAM. Spending so much time trying to fix the problem I forgot my own credo “Check the simple stuff first” Days of messing around I finally opened the case and reseated the heat sink and vacuumed all the dust out of the case and shazam no more CPU message. In the cabinet I have 7 fans, call it overkill but I want the machine cool which dragged all the crap in. 1 – Game card 1- CPU 2- Power supply 1- Case side panel 1- Front case 1- Back case I hope this information helps someone else because I lost allot of time messing around in the bios where I could have done allot of damage. |
