Phew!!

What a relief to see that I'm not alone. Inside my helmet are some of the coolest accoustics.

If I'm not complaining about the other folks on the road, I'm having a blast making stupid sounds, talking to myself, singing...screaming YAHOO!!! as I open her up a bit. I tend to narrate about what's going on around me...making numerous comments to everyone and no one, all at once.

OK...so maybe I am a little freaky.

I think with a voice recorder and a video camera someone could make a comedy show about idiots in cages. Could be very entertaining.

I would be more worried about someone filming the idiot talking to his helmet.

As for the helmet answering back, that depends on brand, like made in Italy vs made in China.

Motorcycle shop salesperson; "What do you mean, you can not buy this French Helmet"

Rider" I do not speak French"

Of course, if on the 1st of Oct, 2006, every member here went into the shop of their choice and made the same statement, we could change the world.
So on Oct 2nd=
Motorcycle shop person" will that be a French Helmet or a Italian helmet"

The helmet I wear full time now is a AFX that I bought because it fits best.
AFX is Canadian (made in China). So I still talk to myself.

I went to Japan 3 years ago for my sons wedding, we ran around tryiny to buy somethings made in Canada. Was having trouble found this store with big RED MAPLELEAF, the name was TRULY CANADIAN, I was jumpimg for joy.
Not 1 item in the store was made in Canada, the RCMP fiqures, said Disney, made in China, the Canadian Flag, made in China.

The only things that were Canadian I could find was Maple Syrup, had to check it was from Quebec not the US, and Salmon, check the label to see if processed in Canada not US.

2 Icons, the Red Mapleleaf and the Red Serge of the Mountie, both are made else where.

The problem here is selection most shops deal thru the same supplier, therefore only goods listed by that wholesaler are carried.
I gave up trying to find a Nolan to try for fit and quality.
Icon Pursuit Gloves, the 6th shop had them.
They cost me double the US price so I ordered the stealth variety thru the internet, they sent right size but the preforated ones which I already had. Cost less but to return would make more costly than buying local, will sell to someone here in town at cost and go pay the higher price.
Sometimes things work sometimes not.

I am having trouble with my shop getting the SS Brake line in black. They told me to buy elsewhere as they could not get. I even gave then the correct part #. It is madding when you try to support the shop knowing you will pay more, then they tell you they can not get.
Why am I paying more if not for service??

I must be old fashioned, I thought we were supposed to earn our money.
Maybe thats why I do not ride a HD.

"WHINE"
I need to ride!!!!!!

I can get Nolan helmets in lots of stores around here ... but then again, I'm only 3 hours north of Italy ...

I quit talking inside my helmet 'cause the shield fogged up, but thanks to Low Wee I can now vent without ventilation again.

Just have to be careful of which helmet you're wearing - no ones specified full face or shortie. You can find yourself in the same situation the anchor from CNN did - Whoops was my mic on?
