Default Craziest Thing You Witnessed From Squid?

06/28/06- Traveling southbound on interstate 495 richmond/andrews air force base, I witness a motorcyclist dart from my left field of view right in front of me and cut between 3 other cars than dart off into the fast lane. She is followed by 5 sports bike riders just trying to catch up, what made this stand out to me wasnt what she did but how she did it. She wasnt in her seat instead she was hanging off the left side of her bike with BOTH feet on the ground creating sparks(iron shoes), she had to be traveling at least 80mph considering i was doing 70 and she darted pass me. I couldnt believe she was able to hold her balance while cutting in and out of other cars on the road while not even riding the motorcycle proper it was crazy I almost went into another lane in amazement watching what i couldnt keep my mind from saying is CRAZY but my eyes were like WOW.

Had a silly squid girl pull up next to me on a Katana. I'm in BLISTI( stang)..so she rev's the bike...Red light about to go green..but wait..there is a turn lane...and yet we all know that people beat that red or run it in the turn lane. So she rips the bike out of the hole..and sure enough the car runs the light and she has to jack the brakes and almost flips the bike. Does this stop her...nope she kicks it and takes off.

I saw almost the same thing except it was raining and the road was really wet. This guy was off the bike and skiing on both feet. I dont know how fast he was going but it was way too fast in town.

LOL dude I was so shocked I literally drifted into another lane, my mind was like WTF i couldnt even form a single word thats how fast she was going and the fact that she started to cut in and out of traffic added more shock value and the fact she was leading a pack of 5 riders who were trying there hardest to catch up with her GUYS included i completly zoned out. And the sparks were oh so pretty My wife just paused and was like "baby she has some hot boots" LOL typical girlie girl.

Had Mr. Squidly do a stoppie that ended next to me at a red light, he was just sssssooooo cooooolllll for doing that. When the rear end of his Yamaha hit the ground it sounded like metal rattling in a can. When the light turned green I let him take off first, this is when he did a wheelie, WOW! That was extra cool!

At least he was wearing a motocros helmet.

I saw a guy flying down Ventura Blvd. on a Yellow GSXR looking bike on one wheel for about a quarter of a mile, wearing a tank top.

...I don't know maybe they are drug addicts and expect to die anyway.

A couple of Saturdays ago I saw a guy on the outer loop of 695, probably going at least 60 to 65 mph sitting on his gas tank, with the handlebars in his crotch, and legs extended like on a pommel horse.

Craziest thing? A lot of them live for a lot longer than you'd think.

A squid going too fast (I was driving the speed limit - 100kmh / 62mph), first passing a car on the right side (illegal), then lane splitting (illegal) between a car and a large (28-ton) truck (stupid) ... IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GUBRIST TUNNEL (ultra stupid).

Gubrist is a 3 km (1.8 mile) tunnel that is part of the north-ring around Zurich, and one of the busiest tunnels in all of Switzerland.

Hah, these are all pretty good...In fact the girl sliding through traffic makes me wonder if she wasn't one of Xavier's X-Men...truly wild stuff.

This morning I saw one I won't soon forget. I had pulled over on the way into the office (into a parking lot) to have a smoke and rest my sort butt. As I go to pull back onto the road this guy comes by on an older big Honda (1100?). He's wearing his brand new signature series HD-Leathers (jacket/chaps), bright white sneakers and about the smallest helmet I ever saw. He looks over at me with this goofy grin, waving & then as he turns back to the front he finds that he's about 4 ft from the bumber of the car stopped at the traffic light.

So...what does he do? Why slam on that Front brake about as hard as he could...that's what. The bike locked up (ya think?) and he slammed into the bumper which promptly sent him over his bike onto the trunk of the Lexus he just rear ended.

He was fine, although he did have bloody nose, nasty bruise on his chin, and he wet himself (no kidding).

The bumper cover on the new Lexus was whacked, the trunk, left rear tail lights and the paint job from all those neat little zippers and buttons on his signature HD jacket did a wonderful job on the paint.

The honda had to be towed, front end was all messed up, brake lever got ripped off when it hit the car & clutch lever snapped when it hit the ground...front rim, headlight, signals and some other stuff.

As I got off my bike to check on him it dawned on me I hadn't had a chance to return his wave. Afterall he is a fellow biker!

So, as I was leaning over the trunk of the car checking him for signs of life he looks up at me...whereupon I promptly return his goofy grin & wave saying "Hiya!". Once I realized he was OK, it was pretty hard not to laugh every couple of minutes. I was about 45 minutes late getting in, mostly because I was busy wiping the laugh tears from my eyes everytime I ran the scene through my mind. What a knob.

He didn't have a license, and never went to a saftey course. Just some guy trying to get his mid-life crisis groove on by borrowing his friends bike. The nice officer provided him with a ride to the station house...I'm still chuckling about it.
