These guys are not from Quebec, because there is no way a Quebecer would need help getting out of this little snow.

But check it out.

Great day here. +14Celsius, sunny. I saw some bikes on the road. God I was envious.

Say did I mention that I got my bike out last wednesday. Nice day but a little cool 8 deg C (46 F ) rode it home from the dealer about 35 miles.

Been working a lot and temps not cooperating so haven't been back on it since but temps are on their way up and I'm on vacation next week.

I'm so jealous... I'm thinking up a plan to get me a bike for this summer, just needs approval by my finance minister (thy wife).

I don't think I will have to suffer from Parked Motorcycle Syndrome this winter. It has already started to get cold in the mornings now. We had fog the other night - couldn't see a foot in front of me, and it was pointless to put the lights on, as you got white out. Had morons screaming past me with brights on. Oh well..

Can expect temps down to -2 C in the winter, but thats about it. No snow, no rain even. Just darn cold. If I get a nice thick jacket and some thermals, it will be fine to ride. Will just get a cold nose from having to have the visor up, as it will get all misted up. Is there a de-misting spray you could get to prevent that?

Ta
Dwayne

Hey, psycho, we're not getting back together. Now get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.

Dwayne, where you been ?

There are many products designed for keeping your visor from fogging up but most don't do that too well. If someone knows of a product that really works let us know.

Depending on your helmet you might be able to find a breath guard ( sort of like an add on air mask ) that'll keep your breath and the humidity it contains off the visor in the first place.

All the way down to 2 below ! Boo Hoo !.

I rider buddy of mine told me to buy special for scuba diving. Don't know the name but it's what diver put in the goggles to prevent fogging.

Now, is that regular spit, or do I need to buy name brand?

I's been having a boss who's a putz cut off our internet connection at work. Which I thought was very charming of him. I now have a phone line installed at my house, which is where I am now, so I can be online all the time if I want

Cheers
Dwayne

Wouldn't you have to be unemployed to be on all the time ?.

No, its not the regular. You need at least midgrade or spit-plus as we say in Texas. Anything with 89-93 hocktane will do.

www.modernworld.com has some antifog stuff/visor products if you don't like spit. (fog city man)

Well, back to the topic at hand. We are now mid winter here in South Africa. The bike is running well, I have missed coming in here for a bit o'chat every now and then, but I did get a new job today.

I am still riding daily, -2 degrees centigrade at night, and up to 15 degrees in the day. So its long johns, and scarf and four thin jackets for me. How is everyone else doing?

Regards
Dwayne

The weather here in Florida is hot, humid and stormy. We are in that season. We hit 99 F the other day and we had one heck of a storm that afternoon.
