It always make me wonder, when the it snows one day and it rains the next day, being the same temp. I know the weather people want to explain things on why it happens, but nothing ever makes sense!

Ideas?

i rode the bike home last night. with wind chill it probably touched the high 40's and sometimes a tad lower when i hit some fog packets. but i soldiered on. bike is back home awaiting a chain lubing.

Its 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hey, psycho, we're not getting back together. Now get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.

How do you guys live in that type of weather? I know you get used to it, but those temps just seem way to extreme.

I guess that is the best way to put it. Here in Florida, the summer weather we endure it and then we wish it would be cooler. Then, this happens.

Well we're getting another couple of days of nippy weather below -30 and windy which should make the windchill about -50 .

You know what other detail seperates us northerners from the rest ?

Windshield washer fluid, bet I've used more in the last week than Jon or Keith have used in their lifetime.

We have special windshield fluid here. It can endure up (shouldn't we say down) to -40C (-40F). I've seen some that can go as low as -50C.

I'm from Memphis so I'm guessing here . . .

I bet that stuff thaws the windshield. Huh? Huh? Am I right or what?
