Default I get to meet the President tonight!!!!

Not that President!!!!

I am meeting with the President of the company I have been working part time for during the past three years. The home office is based out of Cincinnatti and he called me last week to see if I could make time to meet with him on Thursday (today). Then he called back yesterday and asked if I was still able to meet with him.

I told him yes and I asked him if he wanted me to call the other guys that work with me and he said no. He said they are looking to expand the company to open a office location down here in Atlanta and wanted to talk to me personally. He wants to see what role I can play in helping to launch the new location and discuss some other things with me as well.

This is that job that pays me about $400.00 bring home for 8 hours of work once a month. My bling money job.

Hopefully he will have some good news for me. Never had a president of a company personally want to sit down and take me out to dinner to discuss my ideas before.

All I can say is "WOW"!!!!!

just to play devil's advocate:

what if he has surveillance video of other people tagging along (or doing it all themself) and is about to ask you for all that money back??

hope this turns out to be much more bling $$$$ for you!!

Thanks!!!! Hopefully he will have a nice too much to pass over offer. I know his salesmen up there are making almost three times what i make at my current job.

Decisions decisions. I love my job here. Maybe he wants to make it more of a part time gig for me,,,never know.

Money ain't everything.

I chased money for years, just to find out that I had a fat checking account, a decent savings account, but was not happy going to work everyday.

Now.....If you can be happy and make the money, GO FOR IT!!!

Unfortunatly I could not, so I took the being happy and broke.

Great news Sean. Good luck with everything. Things sound promising, and good things happen to good people.

I had a job I loved last year, was approached about a new opportunity, through out a high-ball set of demands thinking they would never consider them, and they came back and said okay. My jaw hit the ground (but not like Big Ben). While I miss what I had, I am also enjoying what I now have.

It's amazing how even great potential choices can cause stress, be sure to get some good riding miles in to relax.

Yea I would have to have a VERY lucritive and better job in order to leave here. Never know though,,, it may be pretty close to what I make now (if he is even coming down here to talk to me about a job) and if that is the case the decision is easy,, stay put.

But if he is anywhere near double what I make or more with a guarantee job then I may have to consider it.

People say money can't buy happiness. It may be true. But, there are alot of stresses that come from making less money. I know it's what my fiancee have argued about and it's one of the two biggest arguments in marriages. So, money may not buy happiness, but it sure eases some SERIOUS stress.

Don't sweat it.
Enjoy the dinner, anything else is a bonus.

We are all pulling for you, so we expect a drink on you, if the news is good.
Delivered of course.

Might see if you can juggle the two jobs for a while. Maybe encorporate J with the dealing....
