Check framboost.com for a air intake. I saw the commercial the other night. I haven't done a comparison yet...but the base k & N is a major improvement.

Thanks, i'll check them out. I went to autozone to buy the K&N cold air intake kit. It was $360 so I left with the K&N base replacement. I can tell a difference just by these two mods.

I found this ROUSHcharger w/ Intercooler. Includes supercharger, intercooler, cold air intake, ROUSH PCM calibration and all necessary components. Add's 145 hp. and 143 lb.-ft of torque! Major $$$$ tho.

Pete, ????

Anywho!!!

I am not car smart at all. Glad to see this thread here. Not long ago i saw a turquoise color Mustang in the parking lot at the hospital. It was a very nice looking car.

Ever since, I've thinking about buying a Mustang. The thing is that the whole jargon is blah blah to me. I am not car smart.

I've seen the previous posting about shelby, Saleen, etc., please, regular stock Mustang what would be ideal to shop for? I mean features and off shelf system within reasonable price. At least i know that they come in V6 and V8 . V8 would rule!

I am not trying to get into 40K price tag. I am hoping for below 30K. Is this a reasonable expectation or am I chasing a gost?

It would be to drive it not to race with it.

Thanks in advance Pete. Thanks guys!

Penjo the quoted comment was about a Carrera GT...a 390K car..parked at wally world...the guy is a dolt!

You say mustangs...what do you wanna know lil lady?
We bought Rae's 06 GT V-8/leather/5 speed for 28K out the door. Loaded. Btw the only complaint I have is about 150mph...the hood flexs abit. Other that that the car is supreme. The 3 year road side assistance is nice too!
If you can't find one you like..I have a guy down here that will meet or beat any price.

Thanks again!

I just returned from the movies from seeing Cars. It is animated cartoon but surely tickled about the mustang. This was great Sunday night therapy with my daughter. Lots of laughters.

Thanks for the offer about your dealer friend. Will certainly keep it as an option. Gracias again!!

Yea, that was me. Sorry HAMMERPETE. For some reason during that time I didn't check back for a few weeks. The kid that bought it already blew the motor. He had it back at the shop where I used to have all the work done. The car was already pushing over 500HP and he decided he needed to add some nitrous. Didn't last long. Think it's back up and running now.

What a shame. If Pete had gotten that car it would be enshrined with better care taken of it then any man should with a car.
