|  Pay it Forward - MC
M-J Forum: S2Design's (Mike) generosity has put an idea in my head. I use to race karts and frequently visited a karting website. In September 2002, I started a "pay it forward" thread. Some of you young guys may have never heard of the movie Pay It Forward. The basis of the movie is that you do something nice for a person, and they will do something nice for someone else, and that person will do something nice for someone else, and so on. Well, that karting site, as far as I know is still carrying the thread on to this day. I think it would be great if we did it here as well. This will ONLY WORK IF PEOPLE DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. I think it would cool to have a MC related pay it forward and a non-MC related pay it forward. Since I just am getting back into biking, I don't have anything MC related. I will, however offer up some things to the NON-MC related. These items are things that you don't mind passing on to someone else for free. It's geared to help people out and clear out some things that you don't need anymore. It's customary to only charge someone the cost of shipping. For example: S2 only charged me the cost of shipping for a seat that he no longer uses. What do you guys think? It really works well, and this site is such a family, that I think it can work. My offering will be in the NON-MC thread. |
