Default What have you hit with your bike this year?

-Tailgating a car, a dead cat.
-Rabbit jumped in front of me this weekend, didn’t even feel him.
-Bird flew into the helmet also this weekend.
-Backed up into a friend’s pickup. Oops

CMAN can’t post here since he hits everything in the road.

I try and avoid hitting things. Lots of things (usually insects or tree parts) hit me, though.

I've had several things on the road in front of me, including cats, dogs, a fox, wild boars, etc., but I didn't hit any of them.

This weekend I had to pull over twice within 10 miles to clean the bugs off the shield, good thing I brought Honda wax with me.

O.k. what hit me, or what I hit??? If it's what hit me, another bike, and a drunk-*** mf outside of a bar... If it's what I hit... Bugs (it's a given newbie/squidlies), re-bar, and some loose gravel... (another given).

What I thought was dead groundhog. The little bugger jumped up and ran right under my front tire. Thankfully I went on without incident.

Broomstick (or shovel handle) on the freeway. I'm pretty lucky it didn't end up entangled in the wheel. Considering the mileage I put on the bike commuting, this is all I've hit so far this year. (knocks on head)

A big ol's splash of anti-freeze/oil/water/and who-knows-what-else.

Going about 70mph and I saw the patch/puddle coming up and stayed on the left third of the lane to avoid it, but.....wouldn't you know the idiot guy in the truck next to me switched into my lane in front of me at exactly the wrong time. He ran over the puddle and my helmet/jacket/jeans were splashed pretty good. It was a pretty big puddle, I'm guessing there had been an accident earlier.

With as much freakin' rain as we've had in the last month, I've been lucky to just get on the road
