Default Freaking AWESOME

On the ride to work this morning, I saw an accident shortly after it had happened. About a mile in front of me I saw what looked like a pickup truck sideways in the road. I struggled to make sense of why it was just sitting there until I got closer.

It was a raised Chevy pickup that had just been in an accident. Once I passed the wreck, I saw that the other vehicle involved was a Neon. What I noticed next is what made it freaking awesome.

I stopped at a red light just beyond the accident and turned around to observe the wreck. The pickup truck had gone COMPLETELY OVER the neon, as shown by the groove down the center of the vehicle about the size of a tire.

There was a motorcycle cop there and no paramedics, so it looked like no one got hurt. Anyway, it was freaking awesome.

Yeah, awesome that it's legal to drive a vehicle that can take the roof off another. Do you know how many oversize pickups kill car drivers every year? I can't bring myself to be impressed.

Some states have regulations for how tall your vehicle can be. I guess AZ doesn't have any, because there are tons of huge trucks out here.

The neon had surprisingly little damage to it. Someone is going to appreciate life a lot more this weekend, having stared death directly in the face.
