Google Earth ... man is that wild. Luckily, only the larger cities of Switzerland have been photographed in high resolution. My town is visible, but no details can be seen. Unless, of course, you visit our town website: www.Ramlinsburg.ch

Yes, but the pictures of Ramlinsburg are not as clear as, say, Gatineau, where you can identify individual cars in a parking lot...

Basically, my house is in the middle of the picture. What you can't really see from that angle is that my house is on a hill (dropping away from where the picture was taken), so I have a beautiful view of treetops and mountains from my office, bedroom and balcony...

You don't see one friggin' McDonald's, fast food, convenience store, nothin'!!!!

Just a slower pace of life I'd wager?

Cool nonetheless...

We have a small "town store", two restaurants (one in the middle of town, and a Chinese restautant at the bottom of the hill, out of sight), and a couple of the farmers also sell "home made" products - fruits and vegetables, breads, meats, wine and schnapps.

There are at least 3 McDonalds within 15 minutes ... but none directly in our town.

That pic reminds me of when I was stationed in Germany...looks almost identical to the small towns over there.

Sounds like heaven. Although, I could do without the Mcdonalds.

Beautiful town, great pic.
....Now I hate the city too!
