Default Back To Work

Well I'm going back to work on Monday. I've been off for five months because of knee surgery. I'm not looking forward to it. Another month or two would be nice. Now that the weather is getting nice and I'm moblil again I could get all of those things done that I need to. Oh well.

For the most part it feels good. Very little pain but it does feel tight. Like it's still a little swollen. My PT said it might always feel that way. I will have to modify some of my activities now like Karate, wakeboarding and water skiing . But I can ride.

Keep exercising that knee until you can do what you want...

Oh, and you have my condolences about that work thing.

The Doctor wants me to stop doing those things. He doesn’t want me to mess up the new parts. I'm only 50 and he wants me to get at least 15 years out of this knee.

If you do everything the Dr says, you'll have no fun at all. I believe in the power of the body to heal itself. Eat well, exercise, then do your activities in moderation. But what do I know, I'm just an engineer, not a Dr.
