Since this thread is merging fiscal responsibility and education together. I saw a perfect example on I think it was the Today show this morning.

A woman was crying poor mouth, and acting like she was one tank fillup from standing in line at the soup kitchen, because it's costing her $100 a week to fill up her vehicle.

I had to start griping at the T.V. "Well ya frickin' dolt, if you got rid of that Quad Cab Ram with the Hemi and 30 gallon gas tank (that's what she was driving), you wouldn't be havin' these problems now would you?"

Jeez...at $2.50/gal she was paying $75 for a tank....if $25 is gonna put her on the dole, ya think maybe she bought the wrong car? That's, I guess where education comes in. Or wait...is it common sense...

Nah...it's the porn star theory of shaving the nether regions, only in reverse. (They shave to make the package appear bigger.) I was given that, uh, that, that, uh, ah screw it...I'll say it, that ridiculous whatever gauge under my name there, which in size and proportion sorta dwarf's the package!
