You mean this isn't Match.com? I was hoping to meet my next ex-wife here.

Seriously, I enjoy being able to communicate with people can relate to you riding at 2:00 am because you just changed your pipes and have to hear how it sounds, who don't look at you too crazy when you say you spent 10-20% of what you paid for your bike in modifications and gear, and who will not only support you, but will hand you a bat to pummel someone who sits on your bike without asking permission.

I came to Suzuki-Bikes.com looking for information about riding, hoping to learn a bit more than my driving instructor could teach me.

I have learned a lot - sometimes too much. I've seen many grusome pictures posted here - everything from road rash to splattered brains. (Don't bother searching, most have been removed or lost). Books have been recommended - I've read several of them, and learned more.

I've (virtually) met several cool people here. I consider themeatman, sunny, trapper and a few other people to be "friends", although we've never met face to face. If I lived on the other side of the pond, I would certainly try to get to the Dragon. I guess I'll just have to settle for the Alps or the Dolomites again this year

A fact of life on forums: People come and people go. Of the people who were here daily when I joined, very few of them are still around. A new generation has joined and taken "post whoring" to an entire new level.

Honda now has an auto ad, on TV, featuring Kevin, the water cooler guy.
Do you think our Trapper is now working for Honda?????

I read more than I post, but that's OK because in social situations I listen more than I talk. I like this site because of the attitudes of the majority of members, safety is serious buisness, but everything else is a target for humor.
