|  bought a 87 RamCharger
I have a crappy old Ford Ranger that I've totally roached out. I've been looking around for a good throw away vehicle to keep me happy until later next year (buying a house next April so dont want a payment). I found a 1987 Dodge Ramcharger with a 360 for $500. Except for some faded paint and a few dings this thing is in great condition. I don't want to make a mudder out of it (2wd) but motor sounds really good and just usual wear and tear for such an old vehicle. I'm not a big Dodge fan but I know Ramchargers are tanks and was a dam good deal for no more than what I paid. Not a supermodel but 1 small 4 inch rust spot and no rust on the fenders. I'm not worried about the gas milage (not much difference than a new one) cause I still spend 90% of the time on my bike. I love these older trucks, easy to work on, easier to mod!!!! I won't go overboard on her, but dam did I get a good deal. |
