| M-J.Com Master Poster ![]() | I’m still in the learning process so most of my riding experience lacks perfection. Before last year my only riding experience consisted of borrowing friends bikes for the weekend. I use to do lots of mountain biking, “lots” which in some ways aren’t that much different than a MC. So after work today I’m sitting there watching TV with my bulldog (Abbey) and out of the blue got an idea “Let’s take the bike over to the twisters and put some speed on it”. My brain is still a little fried from last year when I almost went over the concrete wall on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, so IV been really tentative about pushing the bike through sharp turns at speed again. What a feeling today though, normally I take these turns around 30-35mph, today I was pushing it up to around 50-55mph. I know it’s nothing for you guys that have been riding for a while, but it helped me get a bigger picture of what the m50 is capable of and more confidence in my abilities. Practice, Practice, Practice…….. I have around 5K on this bike now and I learn something new every day. Last edited by Rockhead; 03-29-2006 at 01:46 AM. |

| Dude, Look away from the edge! Just like off road pedal biking, stay focused on where you plan to go, only sneaking quick peeks down to avoid objects that could hurt you..... The M50 handles great, for a cruiser. I would not recommend lowering it, though....
