Yep, my first sunburn of 2006. Not a big sunburn but my lovely forehead is reddish. Gorgeous day outside, had a drink with friends on the patio. Still a bit of snow outside (a few inches, it's melting fast). Very comfortable out with a fleece shirt. Yesterday, I changed the oil in the SV, put the battery back in and fired my baby up. Ooooh I missed that lovely purr. I also washed it. Didn't ride, still to much sand and gravel for my taste on the roads. I prefer to play it safe, resist a few more weeks for a few Spring rains to clean the roads than risk a spill. What's left to prepare, clean off the chain and lube it, and remove the WD-40 I dumbly applied on the front rotors to prevent rust (I know, bad idea, but what's done is done). Need to find some brake cleaner. |
