Amazing effort.
I used to like lego's as a kid, but this is a whole new level.
Took the kids to a lego display last year. Roller coasters, Starship Enterprize, Metro cities, you name it. Pretty impressive stuff.

Actually the design is all done on a computer, they you just have to put the blocks where it tells you. But still a lot of work.

That's the beauty of ebay. You can buy everyone's old Legos and go nuts. I bought up a bunch of Tyco slot track a few years ago.

I used to love legos. I haven't played with them in a LONG time though. I wish I could find where my mom put my big bucket full of them away to.

Now I'm totally blown away at how much engineering and design has gone into the real deal.

That's amazing! The detail is great.
I wonder how long it took to put all that together?

Ok ... time for the gramar police.
It's Lego. Not Legos or Lego's.
The singular of the word is also the plural of the word.
1 piece of Lego. 500 pieces of Lego.
We played with the Lego.
I stepped on a piece of Lego today and my foot hurts!
[/rant]

---

I used to play with Lego all the time and still have it packed away in storage.
It's a plastic 36 gallon trash can that is almost full. LOL
My friend & I used to play with it several days a week until we were around 11 yrs old; then we just stopped and moved on to other things.

Interesting tidbit, Cliff (Claven?). The apostrophe thing drives me nuts, so I knew about that, but not about the plural form. Where do you get that information? It sounds similar to "a box of Crackerjack", or "some Crackerjack" and not -jacks.

the proper name is Lego building blocks. Lego is just the company.
