Default Trailered bike for first time!

I trailered my bike in for service and a recall yesterday for the first time!
It was a big deal for me! I visualized every possible senerio that could go wrong, loading and unloading and driving the trailer 50 miles away (First service was free at the dealer I bought it from near my work).
Well, let me tell you, with the advice and tips on this Forum and elsewhere I got, it went without a hitch, well actually I had a hitch, and I say, if you have never done it and your nervous about it, don't be, in a trailer it is very simple. I didn't even require any help and I was able to ride it on and off instead of standing to the side. Once tied down in 4 places, it didn't move.
I sure glad that's out of the way! been sweating it for a while.
Anyway, just wanted to sound off, the family just doesn't understand!

BTW 99 % of all owners manuals will show you the proper tie downs for the applicable motorcycle.
Glad it worked for ya.

It's just a 10' landscape type trailer with a ramp that folds down. I use it for a side business mowing lawns. Worked great!

That great James. I was a little nervous starting from Tennessee to Daytona with two bikes in my enclosed trailer too. Every stop the first thing I did was open the side door to check on them. The only thing that moved was the luggage, we took our wife's so you know we had plenty of luggage. I rearranged and re-strapped it and it was fine for the rest of the trip.

I'm with you there James ! Just did my first load and transport in a pick-up last Sunday. Then yesterday, hauled my bike in for minor service and used my trailer for the first time. Enjoyed the same luck and feelings that you did.

I'm glad it went well for you guys. I would have been nervous as well. Where did you connect the straps on the bike?
