Default Popular Mechanics - 1954

I got this in my e-mail today. I don't know if it is true, but it says the picture was in Popular Mechanics in 1954. Either way, read the caption below the photo...it's funny.

I love the size of the keyboard and the random steering wheel.

That's great!!!!!! That steering wheel is for steering the portable computer around town. I believe it has a 20hp engine on the backside of it also!!!!

I'd say we've come a bit farther that they thought we would.

I'd say Louis is on the ball. That's exactly where I was headed.

Default Where's My Wheel ?

I like the big steering wheels on the big big PC. Now that I get to noticing it, I see that my computer does NOT have giant steering wheels, not even a small wheel. It seems to me that I'm missing out on something here. I'm going to talk with the people at Sony and see if I can order an aftermarket wheel. A big bright chrome wheel, something that.. you know... would look good on a Harley.

Dude, get a chain steering wheel. They're far out!
