Default Does this make me a nerd?

The mid-season break is over and I finally get to watch the only Scifi show I watch start again..>Battlestar Galactica

Besides racing, news and the military channel I think BSG is the only non-reality show I watch, period. So I guess I'm not too bad. Anyone else watch this show?

Dragbar

Ditto here. I have little to no clue about sits or any other. If watching the History Channel/Military channel, Discovery, Spike (Capt Jean Luke PICCAR) That's right budd trekky, and the NEWS at times; makes me a nerd then being a nerd is fine with me. It is far worst to glue in front of the tube watching Soaps like most women do.

I haven't watched Battlestar Galactica since childhood, although I enjoyed it back then. I normally watch documentaries (military, history, nature), and news along with some Star Trek and Two Wheel Tuesdays on Speed. I can care less if what I watch makes me a nerd or not. Much better than those so-called reality shows. MTV sucks too! No offense meant for those who like reality shows or MTV, but I can't stand neither.

I watch it also, and no that doesn't make you a nerd. Still living in your parents basement and watching BSG, Star Trek, Star Wars etc ..... Now that makes you a nerd

EZ..the new BSG is not the campy product we grew up with..it's much more gritty and more into the emotional side of people who just lost everything...well worth a look see.

I'll have to give that a try, dragbar. I'm kinda stuck in the past when it comes to sci-fi. It's the primary reason I have a preference for the original Star Trek with Capt Kirk at the helm. Kirk + Uhura + green alien woman = nothing short of groundbreaking!

Bring on the BSG.. theres no intelligent life on Fox! I live for the UniversalHD reruns of each season. That and Im in lust for Grace Park. You can keep 6 - Boomer rules! I watched the old.. I was skeptical about the new. Gots to have it now. Heck.. why cant they just move SciFi up to HD and I'll stop watching the rest of the dial.

I think if you have to ask the question you already know the answer.

Glad you started this thread. Reminded me that the new season started tonight. I watched BSG last season and couldn't really get into it, but Stargate SG-1 rocks!!! Just can't get enough of that show.

Yes, watching Battlestar Galactica makes you a bit of a nerd, just like posting on Internet message boards. Don't worry about it!

I haven't anything about them rerunning that one, but I am sure they will. They seem to do that ALOT.

Darn I missed it too!

Edit: No wait. This is confusing. According to the BSG web site this is the middle of Season 2. I watche it on Space Channel (in Canada) and they start Season 2 next weekend.
