well, it has been a horrid year this past year. last december i developed a nasty thyroid problem called graves disease, or hyper thyroidism or thyrotoxicosis. being under a doctors care all the time kept me alive, but the effects of the health problem kept me from putting more than 1000 miles on my bike. (my first year i put 8000 miles on it). i'm just too responsible to ride when i'm not even close to 75%... this next year i will get to do much better, because i am apparently well now. no medication, no lingering effects except loss of muscle tone(which can be fixed before riding season starts). all i have to do is fix that stupid electrical problem. so YAY! |
