Default Original B-Day Present

My friend got me this mostly as a gag present but man......it ended up being a really cool birthday present. A group of us spent a good hour or so assembling it and man; it has a working suspension, V-twin pistions that cycle very realistically all the way to the rear wheel and chain......I forgot how entertaining Lego's can be hahaha

I looked at www.lego.com ant they only show the one like jaydog has. They have 2 "slammer" bikes but they don't look as good as jaydog's does.

Nice Lego bike! So, is the pistol on the left side of the pic there for size reference?

Its 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hey, psycho, we're not getting back together. Now get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.

No I Actually think it's a Ducati 999. It has the single swingarm and long narrow headlight style lol.

I refuse to call those legos. Legos are shapes such as the square, rectangle, cube, and such. When I had legos we didn't have pistons and motors, we had the little piece that had a propeller on it and you had to pretended it moved or spin it. lol. While those assemblies are cool i don't recognize them as legos. It would be like lincoln logs set having steel beams in them.

i grew up with the standards too...trust me i LIVED for my legos...got different sets every year for xmas and bday. my SW droids are the new typs you talk about...the XWing and Tie FIghter are actually collectors sets from the late 70's / early 80's. they were $80 and $175 (Tie fighter / Xwing) on ebay and that was cheap scores...xwing was going for 220 sometimes.

I'm not sure, it was a present. I would guess somewhere around 40-50 bucks though. Legos never were and never will be cheap.

Check this one out. Picked it up at Wal-Mart. It's an offshoot of lego but same piece types.
