Perhaps the dog was on the motorcycle when the cager stopped short.
So the heading should be;

"How to tell the motorcyclist was going to fast."

Well if we're splitting hairs Doug, there should only be four claw marks, since most dogs only have four claws. They do have what they call dew claws that are up further on the leg but most are removed a couple of days after birth especially on a purebred beagle. I'm calling "photochop" , anyone with me on that??

Cute pic, however it's not only photochopped, it entirely CG (computer graphics).

On another note if you look at the right paw you can see the dew claw.

yup...my purebred dogs (West Highland WHite Terrier, Kerry Blue Terrier(2), German Shepherd(2), Doberman, Siberian Husky, Briard) have had their dew claws on them...mostly only show dogs get them taken off. pets dont need to have them removed

Sporting dogs should have them removed for safety purposes. They are apt to get caught on underbrush and could tear.
