G'day Everyone,

I was wondering where some of you lived and having used this www.earth.google.com program for some time thought I'd give it a try. For example our friend Inspiron lists his location as, 47.4493 / 7.76536, which I recognised

as a latitude/longitude so I copied and pasted it into the required area and it took me to a place south east of Basel in Switzerland.

So by the looks of it Inspiron has some great riding country right outside his front door

. So do I, but without the spectacular mountain scenery, it's hilly where I am and you can ride year round which Inspiron probably can not.

The website lets you download a program, about 11 megs, which lets you access a rather large database of global imagery, you need a high speed connection for it to work properly, which updates as you go exploring. Have fun with it, I think it's fascinating.

For anyone that's interested, I live in a little rural village about 80 kms north west of Sydney, Australia called Grose Vale and it's Lat long is

-3.575/150.658

G'day Louis,

I went to Ottawa many years ago and, on the flight, happened to be sitting next to a guy from Ottawa so I asked him where would be the best place to go for a good time. He said if he wanted to have a good time in Ottawa he'd go to Hull! So I went across the river to Hull and had a great time, though I can't remember much, too long ago and too much beer/screech etc
