Default anyone ever listen to country music?

I had to ask, I've only gotten into it cause my gf is a big fan of country. She is obsessed with this one artist named Joe Nichols. Since her friend works for umvd she got to meet him etc. I finally listened to the cd wanting to know what the big fuss was. I have to give this guy credit, I'm playing the cd now! His single (great song) Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall is very catchy. The first song made me chuckle since its called Size Matters. This is better than I thought.

Yeah, started listening to country because of my ex-fiance. I really like it now. Saw Tim McGraw in concert, awesome. I like a lot of the new country music such as Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Shania Twain, Lonestar, Brad Paisly, Gretchen Wilson, Jennifer Hanson, Reba Mcentire, Faith Hill, Martina McBride and many others. I have a real hard time listening to the older country music except for Johnny Cash, he is still one of my favorites. My first love is still the 80's new wave groups like Duran Duran, U2, DePeche Mode, Psych Furs, General Public, INXS, Billy Idol, Oingo Boingo, The Cure, Berlin, Fine Young Canibals, OMD, DEVO, Violent Fems, and many others. Seen quite a few of them in concert. I am going to go see DePeche Mode in concert November 21st. Actually the only 80's groups I still want to see in concert other than DePeche Mode is U2 and Oingo Boingo, I somehow missed them.

Saw KISS in concert years ago, damn my ears rang for days afterward. Good show though, Cheap Trick opened for them. I actually prefer Cheap Trick.

I saw Kiss with Cheap Trick in 1977

I like 60's, 70's and 80's rock

But I LOVE old country, with Ferlin, Waylon, LeRoy, Eddie, Jim, Mel, Willie etc etc

And Patsy Cline had a true "Gift From God" in her voice. Some of the old Hank Williams stuff is good and Lorretta, Tammy, George and all. For rock, well I guess I'm old. Late 60s early 70s "Acid Rock". Mostly listen to Blues now.

Saw Slaughter in a small venue in about 1990. I'm pretty sure I got sweated on by Mark.

Yeah, I do like some country, my musical tastes run the gamut....

I saw Jo Dee Messina on the 4th of July. She's great, and not to painful to look at either....

I don't like genres, I like songs. I do like a lot of country. My wife is obsessed with Keith Urban, and he is a wicked guitarist. I saw him with Dierks Bently and Kenny Chesney a year ago in Worchester Mass. Keith is my wife's "freebee" If she ever got the chance... she would go for it. I said , "fine" and then I told her my freebee is the babysitter, didn't go over too well. HAHA

Well I used to listen to Country,, but after I got divorced I couldn't take all the "I love my wife, I love my dawg, I miss my house, and she got it all" songs.

I tried to get back into it when i dated that DJ that is the DJ on the big country radio station here. But when she went bezerk and nuts I kinda got turned off to it again. Plus it suxs turning on the radio hearing her voice and especially now that she got a daytime slot which in turn landed her another $50,000 a year on top of the $75,000 she was already making.

But at least I know I got my pride not to be some nut cases whipping post. Money can't by ya love.

I will stick to my "I hate everything" music!!!

Yeah, me and my now ex did that freebie list too. Hers was Angelina Jolie or Tim McGraw, and mine was Catherine Zeta Jones or Salma Hyack. I like the idea of the baby sitter, thats funny.

why is it whenever women talk about "if i were into it" or "i would.." (regarding lesbian encounters), they all mention Angelina....its like she exudes lesbian or something

Yes I like her too. The ex even offered a deal to share her to sweeten the deal. Like either one of us would have ever had a chance.

Yup, I agree they all list her if they have even a slight thing for other chicks. I think it is the pouty lips.

Oh yeah, Faith Hill is Beautiful!
