Default Stinkin eBay!!

Well, not eBay, but a seller on eBay. I ordered some gloves the other day, size small. My dad had just placed an order for gloves (size large) and a helmet. Well the company emailed me, I had forgotten to say small. They also said that if the two Thomerson (my last name) orders were related, then they could ship them both together to save shipping. Awesome!! They said that size medium however was on backorder, but that all other sizes were in stock. No problem, I replied and said size small, and yes that'd be great if you could ship both orders together. Well they emailed me a day or so later, saying my order had been shipped, linking me to MY gloves auction, size small. Great, my gloves were on their way!! Well the box came in today, and my dad's helmet, tinted visor, and gloves were in there, but mine were nowhere to be found. I looked on the invoice, and they wrote that size small was backordered, will ship when they arrive. What the deuce? They told me they were in stock, THEN they EMAILED ME saying they had shipped. Now they're saying they don't have them. It would have been one thing for them to email me and say, your dad's stuff has been shipped, but your gloves went on backorder before we could get yours out. Then I wouldn't have been waiting for 3 or 4 days for them. It's been down in the 30's here! I need some REAL riding gloves! Why the heck would they tell me they shipped them, when they don't even have them?!?! ARGH!!!!!!! Sorry, had to vent.

/RANT

People shouldn't list stuff on eBay if they don't have it.....

Check out www.newenough.com for great deals on great gloves. Some real buys in the Clearance section.

Newenough rocks!! I bought my jacket (Joe Rocket atomic) from them a while back. I also bought some gloves from them, but now that it's colder, I need some to come farther back to cover the gap from my sleeve not coming all the way forward.

The last few mornings it's been in the mid to lower 30's here. At 70mph, that's VERY cold!! lol

Good Boy on the helmet, Doug. Too bad it was too keep your ears warm... Now about the gloves. What do you think the first thing to hit the asphalt is (most of the time) when you go down. You better hurry up and get a girlfriend , so she can wipe your bum when you go down. Wear gloves all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had these gel padded gloves that I took a low speed spill with. I didn't really look at them until a few days after the spill (was more concerned with the bike).

When I did look at them I saw the palms were pretty beat up; on the inside of the gloves the liner covering the gel and the gel pad were completely cut through.

I don't even remember my hands hitting the pavement but thinking about what my hands would have taken for a beating if I hadn't have the gloves cured me from riding without them!

So I guess picking up your stock pipes and PC III accessories is out of the question? I was gettin' ready to toss them out in the median on 56th St so you could pick 'em up on the way home.

I quit smoking 20 years ago, but everytime I see your chimp smoking, I can smell the smoke. So if I start smoking again, you will owe me two drinks.
