I have owned my domain, netscribbles.com since 1999, and Scribbles always seemed like a good username.

Jim, that is certainly LONG but do you REALLY think that is fancy or sophisticated?
That sounds like a new teacher introduction to class.

(good try though! )

there's a few reasons for mine. Alright first, part of my name has *EVAN WILLIAMS* in it, which is a whiskey. Second, the phonetic word for W is Whiskey, and since my last name starts with W, guys in my shop started calling me whiskey. Finally, my fav guitarists name is Dimebag Darrel, it has a nice ring to it with the double Ds, so I payed homage with Whiskey_Williams.

Mine is after my dog.

We named him Batty Coda after a robin williams character in the movie Fern Gully. He also from the back looked like batman's head silhouette. But mainly because my wife was just plain "batty" to get a dog.

Default names

When I was 19 and working in a steel mill, I always had about a 3 or 4 day beard. One of the other guys said I looked like Brutus ( in the Popeye cartoons ) It kind of stuck. I have now had a full beard ( which I keep trimed) for 39 years. I do completely shave my head smooth every other day now. I was pretty much bald by the time I was 22. The best thing about going bald early is that when I turned 62 people would say " You son of a %%%%% - you haven't changed in 40 years"
