The first part is a nickname from my habit to wear that color as a kid, the last is my birth year in reverse.

i got a nickname that was similar from my troglodite former supervisor.
it is appropriate because generally in real life i am an upbeat, optimistic person. and i do smile alot, especially these days.

Well I'd like to say it is because I was a big fan of Richard Petty in 1971 when he was racing the STP cars. But actually my mom and dad gave me the initials stp and I was born in 1971. Hence stp1971.

my username has been with me for awhile now. Kyro is a nick name I got in the first grade to sound like a greek god name. The 2000 part was added back in the late 90's when it was cool to add 2000 to everything (seems a bit worthless now in 2005, but oh well). Put the two togeather and there ya go.
