Default Navy folks?

The AF has reported. How many Navy men? I served from 1962 through 1966.
Was stationed on DDG-8, USS LYNDE McCORMICK, which has been decommissioned and sunk, I guess making a reef somewhere.

I served from 1967 - 1975, with four years on USS George C. Marshall SSBN-654 as a Reactor Operator and Engineering Watch Supervisor. I got out as an ET1(SS).

For something to do I joined the Air National Guard in 1990 and I'm still in.

Default USS Truxtun CGN-35

I was in the Navy from 1987 to 1991, USS Truxtun (CGN-35) and USS Mckee (AS-41). One West-pact on the cruiser (mostly sitting in the Persian Gulf).
The Navy Reserves from 2000 to 2003, recalled after 9/11 to help guard a training base .
Looking back I enjoyed my time in the Navy

Sorry if OT. Although I'm active duty AF, I grew up as a Navy brat. My dad was a BT and served on the following ships (that I can remember):

Submarine (unable to recall name)
USS Bausell
USS Knox
USS Francis Hammond
USS Southerland
USS Ajax
USS Ranger

He also did a few years at NTC San Diego as an instructor.
