Regional Nicknames - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Over here we have nicknames for people depending where they come from, what ones do you know where you live?

Here are some examples,

Scouser, someone from Liverpool (me)
Geordie, from Newcastle
Cockney, from London
Taffy, from Wales
Jock, from Scotland
Paddy, from Ireland
Brummie, from Birmingham
Macam, from Sunderland
Jam Eater, from any north-west mining town (cumbria)
and so the list goes on

in Wisconsin, if your from

Minnesota= Mudduck, also MeFirstSota
Canada= canuck

i don't many others but i'm sure there are tons!!!

Hillbillies from Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee.

Hoosiers from Indiana (as in Hoosier Daddy)

Buckeyes from Ohio

Back in the NC mountains where I grew up, any vehicle with out of state tags driving 15mph below the speed limit on curvy mountain roads was instantly tagged "!@#$%^&* tourist"

New England tags in the South after November indicate "snowbirds"

Then again, as my daddy taught me, you can call me anything you want, just don't call me late for supper.

I live in upstate NY.

People from Plattsburgh are called "plattsburgers"
People from New York City are called "New Yorkers"

Not sure what people from Coxsackie are called.
